  • XML : This course aims to present the XML metalanguage, its objectives, its advantages and its syntax, as well as its derived languages, namely XML schemas, style sheets XSL (XSLT and XSL-FO), the navigation language (XPath), the XLL link languages (XLink and XPointer), forms (XForms) and the XQuery query language.
  • DataBases
    This course aims to show the importance of databases in web development. It emphasizes the differences between relational databases and databases Native XML. The two basic management systems of data currently used are MySQL (BDR) and XIndice (BD XML).
  • XML Projects
    This course is intended for students mastering web development tools and languages to conduct big projects.

Missions abroad :
Sultanat of Oman : December 2008 : training of Omani administration officials on electronic administrative documents and means of their long-term conservation: in the framework of cooperation between the higher institute of documentation and the Omani university to train specialists in archival : 50-hour course in Arabic.

  • Coordinator of the master's program in in Information and Digital Document Management at the Heigh institute of documentation (University of Manouba, Tunisia), (2012-2018);

  • Elected member of the scientific council from the Heigh institute of documentation (2008-2011);
  • President of the jury for the exams of the licence in Document management and archives at the higher institute of documentation (Tunis);

Research and supervision activities

Since 2004 :
Member of the Digital Libraries team : for the enhancement of heritage, ISD. The team works on research issues in library and information science depending on technical and social changes. My work focuses on the technologies that must embrace digital libraries to develop information research: information structuring (XML), metadata (Dublin Core, RDF, etc.), collaborative work tools, etc.
Since 2002 :
Member of the Paragraphe laboratory (University Paris8). The team works on the methods and hypertextualization and automatic search tools, generation methods and tools automatic, documentation systems, study and analysis of impacts and the social challenges of innovative technologies. My work focused on the semantic aspects of information retrieval systems and collaborative activities of users.
1997 - 2001 :
Member of the research group (SII: Information Systems and Interfaces) to enssib. The SII team works on the study of documentary-type information systems and their interfaces, including in their multilingual dimension. My work carried mainly on the evaluation of systems nformation research.
Since 2005

Supervision of students to prepare their final theses in Document and Archives Management and in Library Science and Documentation on various subjects:

- The e-government project in Tunisia: inventory
- Electronic Archiving in Tunisia
- Distance learning: standards for structuring and describing educational objects.

Scientific events

  • Responsible for the international conference on libraries and archives in the era of digital humanities CIBAHN (organized in 2016 in Tunis and in 2018 in Paris).

  • Member of the scientific committee of the ICOA 2014 international conference: Open access and scientific research: towards new values.

  • Member of the scientific committee of the international colloquium on electronic documents CIDE (edited annually by Professor Khaldoun Zreik) from version 15 of 2012

  • Member of the organizing committee of the international conference: interact and transmit ; inform and communicate: values and values, organized jointly by the French company information and communication sciences (SFSIC), the Higher Institute of Documentation of Tunis (ISD) and the press and science institute Information Office of Tunis (IPSI) on April 17-19, 2008.
